Deals, debt,and development.

Underwriting and financing deals, managing what's owned, tying construction budgets back to the model, and building the tools that take out the manual work. Each exhibit pairs real figures with an illustration of how the work is done.

LevelBid.

Software I built, and sell to general contractors.

Up to 5competing proposals leveled in minutes, not hours

  • LevelBid is my own product, built end to end and sold to general contractors as a subscription.
  • Leveling competing subcontractor proposals by hand takes an estimator hours: five PDFs, five sets of headings, and the exclusions buried in the fine print. LevelBid reads them, normalizes the scope, flags every exclusion and qualification, and lays the pricing side by side in minutes.
  • Every material finding cites the page and the language it came from, and nothing is scored or ranked. Deciding who gets the work stays with the estimator.

Don’t take my word for it.Run the numbers.

Stripped-down versions of the models I build: levered returns on an acquisition, and how a lender sizes the loan against them. Move any assumption and everything recalculates in your browser.
